Florists on Main Street - Affairs To Remember and Pepperberry

One of the meanings of harmony is peaceful and friendly. I would say two competitors that are neighbors on Main St. in Melrose are very harmonious.
The two florists are: Affairs To Remember and Pepperberry Florist & Gift Shop. Both have excellent customer service, exquisite flowers, creative arrangements, plants, and exceptional gifts.
When asked about the competition both said, they offer different products and styles, have loyal customers, and are friendly neighbors.
Affairs To Remember is a woman-owned company, they have a refrigerator packed with a variety of cut flowers and arrangements. Complementing the flowers they sell candy, balloons, and have an area where you can repot your plants. Something unique is they have a prom bar – you select your corsage or boutonniere, flowers and the bling. Lots of choices and very cool.
Pepperberry has a large collection of beautiful potted plants, cactuses, orchids as well as cut flowers. They have a substantial selection of home décor, gifts, wreaths, jewelry, and cards. The items are displayed thoughtfully and cohesively.
On a drab day – I love to venture into these two cheery shops to get my fill of vibrant flowers, beautiful plants, and lovely gifts, so how does one choose?
The answer is you don’t have to choose, enjoy that Melrose has two charming small businesses, each with their own unique take on flowers and gifts. Stop by and support both, you can never have too many flowers or plants.
