Housse Studio

annie damphousse

Do you need a coastal getaway but don’t have the time or money? May I suggest you stop by Housse Studio, a pop-up store front on Main Street?

Annie Damphousse, an artist and graphic designer, combines 30 years of experience to create works of art on fabric. The tranquil colors of blues, purples and pinks will make you feel like you are at an oceanside beach house.

Her lovely art is displayed throughout the store and has a soothing effect.

The fabrics she designs are used by customers and interior designers for drapes and upholstery. Her coworker, Deb Walz of Deb’s Sewing Table is in the back corner using the fabric to create beautiful bags, tea towels, wallets, and more. The items in the store are exceptionally well curated and have a range of price points.

The pop-up, House Studio, will be open through the Summer Stroll on Friday, July 28 (6-9pm). After the Stroll, she will be working out of her home studio and online.

I hope you get a chance to visit this beautiful store and soak in some tranquility.

Update: Housse Studio now operates, alongside artist Ellen Rolli, out of 169 West Emerson Street.
