Melrose Band Presents: The Ballad of Mel and Rose

Last night, Fred Green Field was filled with music and energy as 15 local high school bands competed in the annual Home Show Marching Band and Color Guard Competition.
Each performance was beautifully choreographed, showcasing the incredible talent and dedication of these students. Melrose took the field with The Ballad of Mel and Rose. The interplay between the vibrant visuals of the Color Guard and the powerful music of the band was exquisite. Together, they told the moving love story of Mel and Rose with precision, passion, and artistry. It was a performance the audience won’t soon forget.
The students, teachers, and volunteers should be as proud of their work as the audience was inspired by it. And yes — the legendary apple crisp was every bit as good as promised!
