A Busy Weekend in Melrose

Last weekend saw Melrosians coming out for a number of local events, including:
- Vance Gilbert played to a packed audience on the patio at Follow Your Art;
- Keeping Melrose Beautiful held its annual cleanup day;
- Families came to the City Hall parking lot for DPW Day (rescheduled due to rain the previous weekend, and held for the first time on a weekend);
- The Veterans Services Advisory Board held its semiannual food drive for veterans;
- And Melrose Pride, a longstanding event, was held for the second year as a beer garden and art exhibition at the Beebe Estate.
