Slurp Noodle Bar Opens On Main Street

Welcome to the neighborhood, Slurp Noodle!
Slurp Noodle had its soft opening last weekend at 478 Main Street, the former home of Comella’s.
T and her partner each own another restaurant — one in Somerville and one in Maynard — and T has called Melrose home for the past five years. Now she’s excited to bring her love of this cuisine to our community!
The menu is still being tweaked as they get ready for the opening, but the current soft-opening menu looks pretty delicious!
T told me her favorite dish is Tonkotsu. I have to admit, I’ve never tried it — but I’m definitely excited to change that! I’m also looking forward to trying their ramen, pho, and rice bowls.
And the inside is worth checking out, too. The dining area is bright and comfortable, with an awesome mural that really adds personality to the space.
They’ll also offer takeout for those nights when you want something delicious without cooking.
