Melrose First Responders Conquer the BFit Challenge

Congratulations to the Melrose Police and Fire Departments for an outstanding showing at the BFit Challenge at TD Garden, braving a snowy Sunday to represent our city with pride.
The 10th Annual Boston Bruins Foundation BFit Challenge is a demanding fitness event that pushes participants — police officers, firefighters, EMTs, military members, and community supporters — to take on the iconic stair climb at the Garden. It’s no small feat, and Melrose rose to the challenge.
A team of 25 Melrose Police and Fire members not only completed the climb but also raised an impressive $18,289. Even more meaningful, the event supports the 100 Club of Massachusetts, an organization dedicated to assisting the families of fallen police officers and firefighters.
This event highlights the commitment, strength, and teamwork of our first responders — on and off the job. Thank you for your service, your dedication, and for making Melrose proud.
