Mother's Pizza

Fueling future engineers, one slice at a time!
When we needed multiple pizzas for the Melrose Red Hawk Robotic Club — hard at work during school vacation week, preparing for next week’s competition — Mother’s Pizza was the perfect choice.
Their Greek-style pizza hits that ideal balance: just the right ratio of cheese to sauce, fresh ingredients, and a crust that’s perfectly crunchy yet tender. The dough is made fresh daily, and you can taste the difference in every bite.
From the moment you walk in, you’re warmly greeted. Whether you’re dining in, grabbing takeout, ordering online, or calling ahead, the process is easy and welcoming. (Bonus: free parking in the municipal lot off Franklin Street makes pickup a breeze.)
They may be famous for their legendary steak and cheese subs, but the menu goes far beyond that — pizza, subs, salads, calzones — something for everyone.
And let’s talk about the gyros. Mother’s is my go-to for both beef and chicken gyros. Soft, fresh pita stuffed with tender, flavorful meat, bright tomatoes, crisp onions, and cool tzatziki sauce. It’s the perfect lunch wrap — satisfying, delicious, and a great value.
The staff is efficient, cheerful, and always accommodating, especially when customizing orders for a hungry robotics crew.
Reasonably priced, consistently delicious, and community-friendly — Mother’s Pizza has earned my loyalty, one gyro (and one pizza) at a time.
