Melrose Bids Farewell to Summer at Beebe Estate Beer Garden

On Sunday afternoon, Melrosians of all ages came out to the Beebe Estate lawn for the second and final beer garden of the season.

The beer garden was a collaboration between Idle Hands Brewing of Malden and our own Hannah's Brewing Co., both of which were pouring several beers for patrons to try. Hannah's Brewing opened this spring, and this is their first year joining Idle Hands at this event.

The La Qchara food truck and Sim's BBQ provided food. The Emersons and TIMKO and Co. entertained the crowd with a range of lively music.

Although billed as a beer garden, the event provided plenty to do for drinkers and non-drinkers alike. Children could be seen running and dancing, while other people simply sat and enjoyed the music. The weather was mild for late August, and many people brought chairs or blankets to relax on.
