Our weekly newsletter goes out on Thursday morning. If you would like to include a submission for a particular week, please send it in by Wednesday. We look forward to hearing from you!
Stories, Photos, and Story Ideas
Have a story, photo, story idea, or lead to share with us? Send an email to submit@themelrosemessenger.org with the following information:
- Your name
- Your story or story idea
- Attach any photos you've taken that you'd like to go along with the story (please don't send any photos you don't have the right to share!)
- If submitting a lead, please send as detailed a description as possible of the location, date/time, and event.
If you submit a story or photos to us, we reserve the right to publish them (or not) within a reasonable time period, depending on each issue's needs.
We are also happy, depending on staff availability, to run stories about local businesses and organizations. Please reach out at editor@themelrosemessenger.org to discuss a possible story.
Events
We would love to include your Melrose event on our calendar! To submit an event, please email submit@themelrosemessenger.org with the following:
- What your event is
- Date and time
- Link to your social media page or website where the event is advertised
Please submit events by Wednesday to ensure they are included in that week's newsletter!
Fundraisers, Donation Drives, and Requests for Volunteers
If you are holding a fundraiser or a donation drive, or need volunteers for something, we would love to help get the word out! Please email submit@themelrosemessenger.org with either:
- A brief description of what you are doing, what you need, when you need it, etc; or
- An image file of your flier
Please submit by Wednesday to have your request included in that week's newsletter.
